99,9 % vegan - Why is Vitamin Optimix Veggie not100 % vegan?
Vitamin Optimix Veggie contains 0.02% gelatine due to its vitamin A and vitamin D compounds. These compounds are very readily available to the dog and are also stable in storage, so that the product can be used for longer than 6 months while maintaining the same vitamin content.
Blue particles in Vitamin Optimix
The blue small particles that can sometimes be found in the powder are the copper components of the mineral mix. Copper is a trace element that is especially important for the ligaments as well as for blood, enzyme and pigment formation. The copper sulphate we use is blue. Since the individual parts attract each other like magnets, larger conglomerates can occur which are visible to you.
This does not affect the product.
