Optiballast Enteral – for a balanced intestinal microbiome

Complementary supplement for dogs and cats

Various fibres are designated prebiotic and support the development of a stable intestinal microbiome in dogs and cats. Optiballast Enteral consists of plant fibres; cellulose, psyllium seed husks and pectin. All three of them are dietary fibres. Dogs and cats have no endogenous enzymes to break down fibre. However, pectin can be rebuilt in the colon by the intestinal bacteria. Cellulose thickens the faeces by water retention. Optiballast Enteral counts as prebiotic, which means it is nutrition for the bacteria in the intestine.

The amount should be slowly increased over 5-7 days, so that the intestine and the intestinal bacteria can get the most out of the fibres. If you give the essential final quantity from its beginning, the consistency of the faeces can become worse by the high content of fibre. The fibres should swell with water in advance and be mixed well under the food.

The amount can be increased until maximum 1 g per kg body weight per day. When the feaces soften, the individual limit is reached. The amount should then be reduced again by half a teaspoon.

1 heaped teaspoon is equivalent to approx. 1-1.5 g Optiballast, 1 heaped tablespoon is equivalent to approx. 3-4 g Optiballast.

Sehr gut

Gebe seit 2 Wochen meiner kleinen Rumänin das Optiballast Enteral mit vollem Erfolg. Die Darmflora war die die Ernährung in Rumänien nicht die beste und sie hatte ständig Durchfall und Blähungen. Seit Optiballast Enteral ist der Kot so wie er sein sollte und das ständige Bauchgrummeln ist vorbei.

Sehr empfehlenswert.

Ich nehme Optiballast Enteral für meine Hündin die Leismaniose hat, an Pankreatitis leidet und nun an IBD. Seit ich es zum Futter dazu gebe hat sich ihr Output stabilisiert und es gibt kein Durchfall mehr. Ich kann dieses Ptodukt sehr empfehlen. Wir geben es auf Dauer.
