Why is there so much bouillon in the can?
We do not add any additional water to the chicken hearts. But chicken hearts are significantly more water-rich than muscle meat, so after cooking, 400 g of raw chicken hearts will yield about 200 g of broth and about 200 g of hearts. We deliberately do not use binders, so you will find an unaltered broth in the can. This is very tasty and nutritious and can be fed with pleasure.
What to do if you received dented cans of food?
We guarantee that we will, of course, pack and ship perfect cans without dents. Due to the sorting system at our shipping service provider DHL, it can sometimes happen on the shipping route that a package falls down up to 90 cm. The forces created inside the carton when it hits the ground can compress the food cans, causing the undesirable dents on the cans. Unfortunately, thicker cartons or other packaging materials do not reduce these dents because the weight inside the carton affects the can many times over upon impact. The outer cartons usually remain undamaged.
If you have received dented cans and cannot detect any opening on them, you can feed the contents without hesitation. It is important to know that when you open it, the meat broth it contains will spurt out due to the excess pressure created. This means that it is best to open the can over the sink.
